C. Stephen Chapman, MBA, is the founder and Executive Director of Democratic Capitalism Initiative as well as Signup and Vote. He formed the latter to support nonpartisan voter registration organizations nationally. Steve has nearly 50 years of business experience in commercial banking, international banking financial consulting, merchant banking, private equity, venture capital, and angel capital investing. He has also served, several times, as a temporary turnaround CEO in investments. Steve earned a BA in Economics and History from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from New York University (at night while working full time and competing in rugby at the national level).
