Tell Congress: Stop the Save Act! |
What happened? House Republicans kicked off 2025 by reintroducing the SAVE Act. This bill would require every American to show a document proving US citizenship (like a passport or birth certificate) to register to vote or update their voter registration. |
What's the problem? Because there are already federal and state laws in place to protect election access and integrity, the SAVE does nothing to safeguard our elections. Instead, it would make voter registration much harder for American citizens and increase the risk that eligible voters are removed from voter rolls. |
What can you do? Tell Congress to focus on protecting and expanding voting rights, not making it more difficult for eligible Americans to vote. Fill out the form to email to your legislators and ask them to ensure we have an equitable electorate that represents all of us. |
